DECEMBER 2024 COSMIC FORECAST
Perfectly timed, the New Moon in Scorpio kicks off our month on 11/1. In terms of numerology 111 signifies a new beginning and manifestation, gracing this particular new moon with an extra dose of luck and abundance.
The Tarot Card of the Month is: Ace of Pentacles, signifying new opportunities for financial & physical abundance - creating a stable foundation for future success.
Our first week of December will include the most shifts in energy with the New Moon in Sagittarius, a Mercury Cazimi in Sagittarius, Mars Retrograde in Leo, Venus moving into Aquarius, and Neptune going direct in Pisces.
Mid-month, we’ll experience a Full Moon in Gemini signifying a completion from the intentions we set back the first week of June. On the same day, Mercury (the planet that rules Gemini) turns direct after it’s retrograde.
By the end of the month, we’ll welcome in Capricorn Season, have Chiron the Wounded Healer station direct from it’s retrograde, and we’ll end the month with a New Moon in Capricorn.
Overall, this is a month for:
Introspection on the intentional action we want to take come Spring
Setting intentions that we want to grow over the next 6 months
Integrating lessons we’ve learned around our healing journey
Finding clarity around your intuition versus your ego

DECEMBER 1 (SUNDAY)
New Moon in Sagittarius
This new moon is saying there is something in our lives that we are confronting and leaving behind so that we can follow our hearts desires… even if that means we must experience a death and rebirth of our emotions, dynamics, and sense of personal empowerment.
Emotional Depth: Heightened feelings and introspection.
Transformation: Opportunities for personal growth and renewal.
Introspection: Time for self-reflection and exploring inner desires.
Empowerment: Reclaiming personal power and agency.

DECEMBER 5 (THURSDAY)
Mercury Cazimi
When the Sun meets up with Mercury like this in a conjunction, we call it a Cazimi which means “in the heart of the Sun”. This happens ~3 times a year, the last one occured on August 18th.
This is a time for heightened awareness, ,mental clarity, new insights, ah-ha moments - think of the Sun shining a light on everything Mercury related (thoughts, perceptions, ideas, communication, technology, travel)
This will be especially potent in the Sagittarius ruled house of your birth chart, this is where you can expect to receive clarity
DECEMBER 6 (FRIDAY)
Mars Retrograde in Leo
Mars, the planet of action, passion, and conflict will be retrograding back through the first parts of Leo all the way back into Cancer the mid-point of Cancer until February 23, 2025. What does this even mean? This means that things will be moving slower especially related to our creative projects, self-expression (Leo) and home-life, family, emotions (Cancer) for the next few months
It can be frustrating to want to go-go-go and things seem stalled, so use this time to reflect and reassess what is actually in alignment for you and what intentional action will look like for you come February of 2025. Honestly, this is a great time to re-align with goals and your vision for the future and putting in work behind the scenes before action is taken outwardly
Think back to October 4, 2024 - what actions have you taken or (or potential frustrations have you experienced) since then? Mars will retrograde all the way back to that point in October giving us an opportunity for a “re-do”
By the time Mars goes direct in February, we will feel more confident and clear on where we are headed with the Cancer & Leo ruled areas of our charts and will likely be inspired take action that is more intuitive (Cancer) and confident (Leo)

Venus enters Aquarius
When Venus, the planet of love, relationships, beauty, and finances is in Aquarius we could gravitate towards all things unconventional, unexpected, intellectual, and innovative
Venus in Aquarius is like "A free-spirited artist painting with colors that blend science, technology, and the dream of a better future."
We notice a little extra love and care when it comes to the Aquarius ruled house of our charts - this is a great time to initiate a new habit, experience, or idea in this area of your chart (example: if you’re a Virgo rising and Aquarius rules your 6th house of wellness, daily habits, and routine - you may play around with a new workout or get sober curious)
DECEMBER 7 (SATURDAY)
Venus (Aquarius) Conjunct Pluto
When Venus and Pluto come together in Aquarius, it is like "A hidden garden blooming in the ruins, where the flowers represent unconventional beauty that rises from transformation and rebirth."
As Pluto transits through Aquarius over the next 20 years, it’s likely we will notice where we want to transform in our Aquarius ruled house - we may already be starting to see things that need deep change. Venus is helping us see the shadows in a loving light, providing us with self-compassion and the ability to make initial changes to kick off our Pluto in Aquarius journey
What we value and love is now being seen through a non-traditional and unconventional perspective
Neptune goes direct in Pisces
Since July 2nd, Neptune (the planet of intuition, spirituality, and creativity) has been retrograde, calling us to reflect on our inner knowing, parts of our lives that feel confusing, and visions we have for ourselves
Things may have felt foggy and intangible over the last 5 months, but now the fog will begin to lift so we can see the possibilities ahead of us. Not only that, but we will see this opportunities with spiritual clarity and feel confident in knowing what the ‘right’ path is for us as individuals
Now is the time to embrace your intuition, focus on your healing journey, and stay grounded through compassion
DECEMBER 15 (SUNDAY)
Full Moon in Gemini
This lunation marks the completion of a cycle that was started the first week of June. How have we tapped into our curiosity, versatility, and unique way of communicating?
We may spend more time socializing or sharing information on social media, we have more emotional clarity, new insights, and we’re balancing logic with emotion.
We can look to the Gemini ruled house of our charts to see where this is impacting us most.
Mercury goes direct
After 3 weeks of turning inwards to reflect and review our thoughts, conversations, ideas, and projects (especially in the Sagittarius ruled house of our birth chart), we will notice more clarity arising on this day and the following days.
Plans to expand, learn, or begin a new adventure will gain more clarity and insight now that Mercury is direct
DECEMBER 21 (SATURDAY)
Capricorn Season
Heightened focus and drive on our success, what we’ve achieved, what are goals are
Setting ourselves up when it comes to foundations, structures, and boundaries that will help us reach our dreams
Reflecting on the year we’ve had and preparing for a new year via brainstorming, planning, and strategizing
DECEMBER 24 (TUESDAY)
Jupiter (Gemini) Square Saturn (Pisces)
This feels like we are so badly wanting to move forward and take advantage of all the opportunities, but Saturn is showing us where we still have some work to do.
We might feel like we’re being blocked from reaching our dreams or that something is in the way of us progressing how we’d like to.
This can also be energy that is encouraging us commit to our goals and know that if we put in hard work towards our foundation and structure - the path will be more rewarding long-term (Slow is smooth and smooth is fast).
It could also simply mean you have obligations with loved ones and yet you also have the urge to do something different than what was planned.
DECEMBER 30 (MONDAY)
New Moon in Capricorn
We end the year starting a New Moon cycle in the ambitious, goal-oriented, and “CEO” sign of Capricorn - this is helping us to plant seeds of intention that we want to experience 6 months from now.
This is initiating a new change and opportunity in our career and long-term goals, we are stepping into our inner authority and getting serious about our visions for our future.
